What to Expect
Welcome to Life Community!
If it's your first time at Life Community, we want to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. We always say our unofficial mission statement is "You belong before you believe", what that means is we find people feel a part of our community before they jump in with both feet! Come check us out and if you feel at home, consider getting involved.
WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET THERE?When you arrive at Life Community, come in the main doors and look to the right, you'll see our Information Center. Take a minute to browse our information materials or meet one of our friendly greeters. If you're a coffee drinker, make sure to arrive just a few minutes early to grab a cup from our Coffee Shop!
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR KIDS?You can choose to check-in the kiddos to our fantastic programs or keep them with you. We know a new place can be scary for kids, we want your family to have the best experience. If you are taking your children to our kids programs, head straight through the lobby and look for our child check in station. There will you meet one of many "Jessicas" (that's really their name, we just have several volunteers named Jessica). You will "check in" your child and grab 1 pager per family. Our classes are divided by age group, Nursery-Toddlers, Preschool, K-3rd and 4th-5th. All children classrooms are in the same hallway, connecting to our large playground. Each classroom also has their very own restroom!
HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?
Services last about one hour. We start by singing about 2 songs then some exciting announcements of what is happening at life, then an inspiring message from Pastor Delmer (in person!) followed by 2 more songs. We also have a prayer team available at the end of the service for anyone in need.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Clothes! Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
